The firm, established as Floissac & Giraudy in 1960, is one of Saint Lucia's oldest and most reputable law firms. Its co-founders, the Rt. Hon Sir Vincent Floissac (1928-2010) P.C. C.M.G. Q.C. LL.M (Lond) and Henry Giraudy, O.B.E., Q.C. (1923-1993) earned a sterling reputation for high quality legal work in conveyancing, finance and banking and civil litigation. Their respective contributions were recognised by appointments as Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and President of the Senate, respectively.

In 1986, Sir Vincent was joined by his daughter, Brenda Floissac Fleming, who carried the firm's litigation portfolio for many years. Brenda became a Senior Partner in 1993 and the firm was then renamed "Floissac Fleming & Associates". The firm's doors opened in 2000 to welcome a new generation of lawyers who uphold the firm's premium dynamism through a fusion of specialized knowledge, vast experience and creative thinking and share Sir Vincent's and Brenda's passion for excellence in the delivery of legal services to clients. The firm is widely recognized by clients and peers for its solid legal experience and for maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.

Brenda heads the firm's elite team which comprises a team of 5 attorneys and 8 support staff. The firm continues to operate from expanded premises at its original location on the Corner of Brazil & Mongiraud Streets, Castries. A branch office was set up in Rodney Bay, Gros Islet in 2008 to facilitate ease of access to its services by commercial and international clients based in the north of the Island.
